After discovering that her boyfriend of ten years has betrayed her, Jiang Zhixu wants nothing more than to walk away. Instead, Mu Zikuo, the younger brother of her ex and someone she's always thought of as a little brother, catches her at her lowest point and proposes marriage. He promises he can make her fall in love with him within six months, and she agrees partly to get back at her ex, Mu Zhijing. Only after their whirlwind wedding does she discover that Zikuo has secretly loved her for years. Unlike her ex, he supports her ambitions and even spends his savings buying back the factory her family lost to bankruptcy. Just as their marriage starts turning into real love, Zhixu's career comes under attack—and the person behind it is the man she once loved.
