Singer Jin Xi’s foray into acting was a disaster, drawing widespread ridicule for his abysmal performance. Refusing to admit defeat, he charted a new course by trying his hand at musical theater, determined to stage a comeback and prove his detractors wrong. By a twist of fate, he fell for Ning Jin—a cool, uncompromising, and elite musical theater director—after an accidental, intimate kiss; their paths crossed again shortly after at an audition. Ning Jin, already skeptical of idols crossing over into theater, was incredibly harsh toward Jin Xi—a "traffic-driving" newcomer who had seemingly parachuted into the production—subjecting him to a relentless gauntlet of grueling, "devilish" training.
