Su Qing and Su Wan are each arranged to marry brothers Fu Chengzhou and Fu Yang, respectively, in a business marriage. On their wedding night, a downpour obscures the house numbers, and the sisters mistakenly enter each other's bridal chambers. Su Wan ends up spending the night with Fu Chengzhou, while Su Qing ends up with Fu Yang. With the marriage already arranged, the two couples swap marriage contracts, beginning a series of hilarious and absurd married lives. Su Wan, initially dissatisfied with Fu Chengzhou's strict discipline, gradually becomes dependent on and falls in love with him; Su Qing and Fu Yang also break down their stereotypes and develop feelings for each other. Ultimately, the four's mismatched marriages come to fruition.
