Su Min unexpectedly gains the ability to travel between comic book worlds. She enters the comic "Drowning," co-created by Su Min and Su Yanxiu, and approaches the disabled and gloomy Li Zhou as a transfer student, attempting to change his fate. Meanwhile, in reality, Su Yanxiu is shaken by her unusual behavior. Traveling between the two worlds, Su Min gradually discovers that Li Zhou is Su Yanxiu's dark mask, and that she has fallen in love with the real him beneath the mask. The ending is rewritten—not drowning in darkness, but a rebirth.
