This drama tells the story of Su Fengzhi (played by Fang Jin), the eldest daughter of a powerful military family in the Tiansheng Kingdom, during a time of constant warfare. Her family is illustrious, but overnight, her father is falsely accused of treason, and her pregnant sister, who married into the Ninth Prince's household, dies mysteriously. The entire Su family is executed. Su Fengzhi escapes and later disguises herself as the "blind" musician Su Jin.
