On the day of their wedding, Jian Yan Xi witnesses her fiancé, Mo Zhan Bei, being killed. The murderer then turns to take her life. Right after, she wakes up to find she was reborn to a time soon before the killings. Determined to prevent the death of her lover, she decides to cut ties with him and get revenge on everyone who has hurt her. However, their fates seem connected as they keep becoming entangled in each other's lives. Jian Yan Xi doesn't seem to notice that Mo Zhan Bei may have also been given a second chance.
