The Langta demon queen Lin Shu forces Huo Jibai to marry her. She then uses every possible means to bind him and target his ex, Su Wanyue. Huo Jibai angrily resists until the Su family is caught. Lin Shu suddenly lets go of Huo Jibai. Only then does Huo Jibai realize something is amiss. He goes back to find Lin Shu, but he's already involved in the fight against the Lin family. Huo Jibai rushes in to save her, and the two men reconcile. Huo Jibai uses his love to teach Lin Shu how to love and be loved.
